From the initial consultation call to the day of and even after, your experience will be tailored to your unique preferences and priorities. By getting to know you as a couple and learning about what LIGHTS you up, I can help you design your ultimate wedding day experience.

 

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE CREATION

I am dedicated to ensuring that your wedding planning process is as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I include personalized activity recommendations and timeline creation as a core component of each elopement/ micro wedding photography package. With these elements taken care of, you'll be able to fully immerse yourself in the joy of your special day with your loved ones, while I handle the logistical details.

 

LOCATION SCOUTING

After you complete your initial questionnaire, if you don’t have a predetermined location I’ll get to work researching a location that incorporates your vision and requirements, whether you want something more secluded, easily accessible, or both! 

 

HIGH-QUALITY EDITED IMAGES

Unlike some photographers who limit the number of high-resolution images in their packages, I'll provide you with all of your BEST photos in high-resolution so you can keep them forever. Plus, you'll have access to a curated selection of print products from the one of the best printing companies, who I trust with my own images.

Up to 4 hours of coverage for those short and sweet celebrations. Available to be booked within 2 hours of Suffolk, VA.

MINI ELOPEMENT OR MICRO WEDDING

The idea of partying from sun up to sun down is not for everyone, fellow introver here so I get it. The half-day elopement/micro wedding experience offers up to 8 hours of coverage and is the perfect sweet spot package for couples who want the full story of their wedding day, but also desire some private time away from the cameras.

FAQ'S

WE’RE NOT REALLY INTO HIKING AND ALL THAT, CAN YOU STILL HELP US WITH OUR ELOPEMENT?

Absolutely! Honestly I prefer the challenge of finding epic locations that require minimal hiking if any! I understand that for many the idea of hiking for miles in wedding attire and backpacks full of gear inorder to capture “epic” photos does not sound appealing. Beautiful, exciting, and personalized elopements can happen anywhere and don’t have to involve any hiking!

WHAT IF WE’RE NOT SURE HOW MUCH COVERAGE WE NEED?

It's completely understandable to be unsure at first, and many couples feel the same way. Don't worry - we can schedule a consultation call to discuss your ideas and determine the best course of action for you. Reach out to book a call with me, we can discuss what you’re dreaming up and I'll assist you in achieving your vision!

WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT PERMITS?

In case you plan to hold your wedding ceremony or take photographs in a national park or other public lands, it's probable that you'll require a permit such as a "special use permit." I can assist you with identifying the necessary permits during the planning and venue selection phase, as well as guiding you through the permit acquisition process.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Short answer? We get wet, or pull out the umbrella (ella ella ella eh eh)

Rain, fog, and snow are some really cool weather elements that can turn photos into pure art! When it comes to planning elopements and micro weddings, your backup plans have backup plans, have backup plans. Anytime you make nature a big part of your day, you need to build in a lot of flexibility, and so I make sure that we’ve got some awesome backup plans on standby. With over 10 years of photography experience I have shot under any condition imaginable, I got you and will make sure you are comfortable with any changes that need to be made to accommodate Mother Nature.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF WE ARE A RIGHT FIT?

I promise you will know. To be cliche, it will just click and feel right. Finding the right photographer is key. You will be spending almost every moment with them on your big day and you don’t need it to be awkward (unless you like awkward!) I know there are so many options out there and if you decide to go with another photographer because you are more aligned and vibe better I promise I will not be offended. This is YOUR day!

Once you submit an inquiry, I’ll check my availability and reach out with more information. If the date is open, we’ll move on to the next step and begin your custom proposal.

02. Phone Consultation

We’ll chat about all your wedding plans and what is important to you.  You’ll also learn more about me. If we’re a fit, I’ll create a plan that works for you.

03. Booking

Once you receive your custom proposal, you can sign the contract, pay the retainer fee and then celebrate because you are officially booked!

04. Wedding Day

Leading up to your wedding, we’ll have constant communication along the way to make sure you can relax and enjoy every minute of your wedding day.

05. Gallery Delivered

While you enjoy blissful newly married life, I’ll send a sneak peek so you can re-live the day ASAP. Your final gallery will be delivered about 8 weeks later.
