Let's be real, posing for photos can be awkward. I’ve noticed in talking with other photographers the last batch of photos is usually the best as guards are finally down, the stress of the photo shoot is gone and people relax and feel like themselves again. So I’ve made it a personal goal that I want couples to feel completely at ease and relaxed from start to finish. I don’t bite, not most of the time, and this should be a fun, happy time documenting your love.

As an elopement photographer, I'm not just interested in capturing beautiful photos of your special day. I'm passionate about creating an experience that's unforgettable, and that truly reflects who you are as a couple. And let's be real, who wouldn't want a personal paparazzi on their wedding day?!

From the moment we meet, my goal is to get to know you and your story. I believe that every love story is unique and deserves to be celebrated in its own way. Need a personal assistant and cheerleader? Done and Done
On the day itself, I'm not just there to snap some shots and go home. I'm your personal assistant, your cheerleader, and your friend. I'm the one who will help you fix your hair, remind you to remove your security hair tie from your wrist, hold your extra clothes, and yes, even check your teeth for food or lipstick. I want you to feel relaxed, happy, and completely at ease. After all, your wedding day is a celebration of your love, and you deserve to enjoy and embrace every moment of it.

From start to finish, Sam made the entire process of our Elopement shoot so much fun and stress-free! First and foremost, Sam has an incredible eye for photography. She knew exactly how to capture not only the beautiful scenery but also the intimate moments between my husband and I. She has an amazing talent for capturing candid shots that truly showcases the love between a couple. Dare I even speak on her editing style!! To say that she has an amazing ability to incorporate timeless and flawless color on the images she captures IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Each photo was flawlessly edited without taking away the true essence of US. Work ethic aside, what truly sets Sam apart is her personality. She is the ultimate hype girl! Sam made us feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day. While I’m always photo ready, my husband is NOT! She was so patient and encouraging that he eventually forgot he was taking pictures! She has a contagious energy that instantly put us at ease and made the experience so enjoyable. Sam was also incredibly flexible and willing to try out any ideas we had, and she made recommendations based on the location and time of day we were shooting. She is not only an incredibly talented photographer but also a fun, relaxed, and enthusiastic person to work with. I'm so grateful that she was able to capture such beautiful memories for us while making the experience so relaxed and seamless. We all hear them, you go to any photographer’s page and we all seem to hit on the same buzz words. However, these words are not used in vain. In fact, they hold a deeper meaning that is crucial to the art of elopement and micro wedding photography. Here is your guide to common buzzwords and what they mean to me.
1 Adventure
Most of us when we think of adventure photography we picture backpacks, hiking boots, tents and camping gear with the most magical background after a 5 mile hike. And don’t get me wrong, those pictures are freaking STUNNING. But adventure in the context of photography really just refers to the idea of exploring new and exciting locations and capturing intimate and spontaneous moments in those locations. So If your idea of adventure is finding an adorable bookstore and saying your I dos around all the greatest stories, let’s effing go! It's about stepping outside the traditional wedding box and capturing unique and unforgettable moments that tell your beautiful and personal love story.
2 Authentic
I don't want you to look at your photos and think, "Meh, seen that a hundred times before." No way! I want you to gaze at those images today, years from now, and be transported back to that moment, feeling the authenticity and genuine emotion that we captured together. We're all one-of-a-kind, with our own unique quirks, experiences, and dreams. And that's precisely what I want to capture - the qualities that make you stand out from other couples. 4 Real
We live in a society full of filters, photoshop, face tune, AI, etc. From social media to magazines we are endlessly surrounded by unrealistic images. In a society that promotes a flawless physique and features as the “norm” we all feel the pressure to conform to the unrealistic expectations promoted through digitally altered photos. While I use the power of editing tools to enhance an image I make sure to capture the best real version of yourself that doesn’t need to go through the extreme editing.
5 Love Story
Each love story is unique, just like the individuals involved. It centers around two people and their journey together, navigating life side by side through all the twists and turns. My goal as a photographer is to narrate your love story through photographs.

Intimate - Big Weddings feel like they lose sight of the couple with all the details, decor, and … people. Removing yourself from all the smoke and mirrors and choosing to elope allows for more intimate moments, just the two of you, your closest friends and family if you want them there, and me as your trusty photographer capturing your day just how you see fit. Plus, who needs a massive guest list when you have the ultimate VIPs in attendance - YOU! So let's ditch the stress, forget the fuss, as your favorite third wheel, I promise to bring the laughs and help create a day that is undeniably yours.
7 Non-traditional
Traditional weddings have been for centuries, but let’s face it, they tend to be a stuffy, expensive production in front of a big crowd of people you hardly know (looking at you, third cousin Dolores). Non-traditional weddings offer a unique and personalized touch that allows couples to showcase their personalities and values without feeling stuck by old, tired traditions and unreasonable family demands.The truth of the matter is that those big traditional celebrations are ultimately about the experience of the guests and not the experience of the couple getting married. Non-traditional weddings provide a fresh perspective and create a memorable, one of a kind experience that is focused solely on the couple rather than pleasing the crowd.
